Before becoming an operations manager at UPS Healthcare, Jennifer Vandgrift always knew she wanted to help others. She began her career in healthcare – first as an emergency medical technician, then as a certified nursing assistant – before earning her nursing license. But once she became a mom, Jennifer needed a job with great benefits and flexibility. She found both at UPS.

Jennifer chose a long-term career at UPS after experiencing the difference in flexibility and support. At UPS, she found a workplace that prioritized her family’s well-being – giving her the freedom to be there when it mattered most. That level of care made all the difference.

More than a paycheck: “As a nurse, the pay was good,” she continued. “At UPS, in addition to great pay, I have great benefits. I used my benefits, built up my 401(k), and was finally able to buy my first car – and my first house. That kind of security meant everything to me. It’s why I stayed.”

¿y lo mejor? “I'm still very engaged in patient care,” Jennifer shared. “Everything we do at UPS Healthcare impacts nurses, doctors and first responders on a daily basis. I always tell people that I'm still nursing ... it's just in a different capacity.”
