What’s new: Together with Inc. and Fast Company, The UPS Store has launched The Helping You Be Unstoppable Store – a virtual experience for all things small business.
A virtual hub for small businesses: The Helping You Be Unstoppable Store is a three-story virtual building that features:
- A library of on-demand content from Inc. and Fast Company, that is focused help startups and entrepreneurs.
- Insights from thought leaders and small business experts like Brian Moran, Founder & CEO of SmallBusinessEdge, Melinda Emerson, bestselling author and the “SmallBizLady,” and Damon Brown, author and public speaker.
- Interactive educational modules on topics like brand-building, sales, marketing and time management. When people complete these modules, they will receive a badge that can be used in the virtual world.
Why it matters: UPS has become a trusted advisor for small businesses. And collaborating with business-building favorites like Inc. and Fast Company, we open new doors for SMBs to get the resources they need to grow – in the real world or the metaverse.
The host with the most: The experience is hosted in Decentraland, a virtual 3D world where you can buy or sell digital property, play games, exchange collectibles, socialize, and explore. Many companies such as Atari and Samsung have already purchased virtual property in Decentraland.
What they’re saying: “Because small businesses are always evolving, we’ve built a place in the metaverse that will enable small business owners to thrive and be unstoppable,” said Michelle Van Slyke, senior vice president of marketing and sales for The UPS Store, Inc. “We’ve created a virtual ‘business school’ jam-packed with resources and small business knowledge from three of the best experts – The UPS Store, Fast Company and Inc.”

Return to the metaverse: Earlier this year, UPS was the official shipping partner of ComplexLand, a virtual event spotlighting diverse-owned small businesses. We delivered goods to everyone who shopped in the UPS village or at Complex-owned shops.
