The stars aligned for UPS as the world’s biggest soccer tournament came to our hometown of Atlanta – giving us a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to celebrate our people, customers and communities.
As a proud Showcase Atlanta sponsor, we celebrated the local businesses and experiences that make our city special, while CEO Carol Tomé helped spotlight Atlanta globally as co-chair.
To recognize UPSers who deliver exceptional results, U.S. Operations leaders Karl and Raphael enjoyed an unforgettable experience with soccer superfans from their teams.

West Region

John embraced a new challenge when he relocated from Arizona to New Mexico to take on greater leadership responsibilities. His willingness to step into a new role shows his commitment to personal growth, his team and delivering results for our customers.
For Keven, this experience is the realization of a lifelong dream. A passionate soccer fan whose love for the game began in childhood, he attended the world's biggest soccer tournament thanks to his go-getter spirit and bold determination.
East Region
“I’m incredibly proud of what Raphael and his team have accomplished. They’ve demonstrated resilience, led through change with confidence and built teams that consistently delivered operational excellence,” said UPS East Region President Dominic Porporino. “Their dedication to our customers and each other is what makes our success possible.”
Raphael is the No.1 division manager for the East region – a leader who’s committed to developing people, delivering results and building a strong team culture. This recognition is a celebration of the impact he makes and the leaders he helps grow along the way.
Jason is a passionate soccer fan whose leadership helps drive exceptional results for our company. He has improved operating performance every month this year while meeting all safety goals.
Carlos goes above and beyond to exceed business goals while making sure his team works safely every day. Off the clock, he's a soccer enthusiast who loves traveling with his son to experience the game.
