Carol B. Tomé appointed a Georgia Trustee by the Georgia Historical Society

In conjunction with the Governor’s Office, the Georgia Historical Society inducted CEO Carol B. Tomé as a “modern-day Georgia Trustee,” the highest honor the State of Georgia can confer. The society recognizes two Georgians annually whose accomplishments and community service reflect the highest ideals of the founding body of Trustees and embody their motto, “Not for self, but for others.”
