What’s new: UPS is stepping up to deliver some particularly precious cargo – desperately needed infant formula. The first flight moved 44,000 pounds from a Nestlé factory in Zurich, Switzerland, to a distribution center in suburban Indianapolis, Indiana.
Why it matters: The shipment is part of the U.S. government’s Operation Fly Formula to speed up imports of formula during a severe shortage across the country.
