What’s the story: For more than 10 years, UPS driver Zheng Hai has personified outstanding service. And he keeps winning awards. Most recently, the State Post Bureau – China’s governing body for the postal industry – presented him with the Best Service Provider award for dedication to his customers and community.

“Our job is not just about delivering packages. We’re delivering what matters – we’re delivering hope, serving the public and society,” said Zheng Hai. "I am very honored and proud to receive this award.”

Putting customers first: Zheng Hai prides himself on giving his customers the best service. As a veteran driver, he seamlessly manages pickups and deliveries, building great relationships with his customers along the way.

Safety strong: In 2021, UPS celebrated Zheng Hai’s safe work ethic with an accident-free driving award. He credits the company’s extensive training and safe driving guidelines that teach drivers to minimize potential road hazards. As a mentor, Zheng Hai regularly shares his safety knowledge with co-workers at the Dongguan Center in China’s Pearl River Delta.

Focusing on community: That same year, Zheng Hai was named the Asia Pacific Region’s winner of the Jim Casey Community Service Award. An enthusiastic volunteer, Zheng Hai makes hot breakfasts and serves meals to community members with mobility challenges and volunteers with the Starlights Autism Children’s Recovery Center.
