UPSer Appreciation Week celebrates the tremendous efforts of UPS employees delivering what matters all around the world.

Let’s meet some of the faces that made 2022 so special and the sometimes surprising places UPSers show up in our everyday lives:

🏈 Mykol Gummings 🏈

Mykol Gumming had quite the year: The Texas delivery driver went viral for bragging about his pay and benefits, then went viral again for looking like pro football player Jalen Hurts. UPS said, “I see you,” and set him up with a once-in-a-lifetime delivery of a Dallas Cowboys game ball.

Watch Mykol make his star-making delivery below – and the Cowboys won, by the way! Probably not a coincidence:

💪 Kori Wagner 💪

Talk about an icon for women in trucking – Kori Wagner is a fitness competition model AND a big rig driver.

With a route from Missoula, Montana to Spokane, Washington, Kori gets to take in some truly amazing sights. With her stability and independence, Kori is also able to compete to be the very best.

See how Kori believes, “If I can do it, so can you,” here:

🎸 Oscar James Pegorraro 🎸

Michigan’s Oscar James Pegorraro has a huge social media following as a UPS driver by day and rock star by night. Three cheers to work-life balance!

Oscar’s band, No Resolve, has covered songs from Adele, Seal and countless others, giving them new hard rocking treatments. And this past Veterans Day, Oscar led his rendition of the National Anthem for his coworkers:

🕶 Kaleigh Walsh 🕶

Before UPS, Kaleigh Walsh served in the U.S. Air Force Security Forces, responsible for the safety and security of personnel, assets and property. Everything required the highest attention to detail, integrity and commitment to the mission.

Today, Kaleigh is a security investigator with UPS.

“I knew that I worked well under pressure and that I liked a fast-paced environment, where the job is never the same from one day to the next,” Kaleigh said. “UPS is exactly that. Be ready to be challenged and to grow. There are so many avenues for advancement and for something new each day."

🦸‍♂️ UPS Latin America 🦸‍♂️

Wilfredo Ramos led UPS’s efforts in Latin America for the past two and a half years. For this year’s Appreciation Week, he and successor Francisco J. Ricaurte charged leaders in the region with recognizing their teams and colleagues and passing the challenge on – aka the #UPSGratitudeChallenge

Wilfredo and others like him ignited a chain of gratitude on LinkedIn and Twitter, shining a spotlight on the incredible work of UPSers across the region.

👠 Jennifer Taylor 👠

Jennifer Taylor works in crew resources for UPS Airlines, with a heart committed to helping women earn scholarships and advance in their careers. Last year, Jennifer helped Miss Kentucky’s Outstanding Teen secure her crown on the national stage.

“Volunteering as a local director with the Miss America Organization is one of the most fulfilling experiences of my life,” Jennifer said.
