What’s new: In partnership with New York Clean Trucks program, we’re introducing electric vehicles (EVs) in Bronx, NY. These zero-tailpipe emission vehicles lower our impact in busy and often congested city streets, while keeping our service top-tier. They’re part of our global fleet of 19,000 – and growing – alternative fuel and advanced technology vehicles, including nearly 1,000 electric and hybrid EVs.

Sustainability is a mindset at UPS: We know that our customers need logistics solutions that are reliable, efficient and sustainable. That’s why we’re constantly thinking of ways to make our global network more efficient – from innovative fuel burn initiatives that saved 30 million gallons of jet fuel in 2024, to using AI and machine learning to map out the best delivery routes that saves us 10 to 14 miles per driver per day. The cleanest mile is the one not driven or flown as we like to say.

Customers look to their logistics partners to help meet their sustainability goals that’s why we offer impactful solutions like:

  • UPS Carbon Neutral: Offsets carbon emissions from your shipments by supporting certified environmental projects around the world.
  • Carbon Impact Analysis: Provides detailed insights into the carbon footprint of your shipments, helping you make data-driven decisions to reduce emissions.
  • Supply Chain Optimization: Uses analytics to streamline your supply chain for greater efficiency, cost savings and reduced environmental impact.
  • Paperless Invoice: Eliminates the need for printed customs documentation by enabling digital transmission, reducing paper waste and speeding up international shipments.

We’re proud to lead the way in sustainable logistics, making a difference for our customers and for communities around the globe. By working with us, customers are choosing a path that’s not only good for business but also good for the planet.
