Advancing sustainable aviation

We're supporting the Georgia Institute of Technology’s research on sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), a cleaner alternative to regular jet fuel. The project studies future demand, technology options, policies and real-world business examples to find practical ways to produce, distribute and use SAF at airports. Our support enhances Georgia Tech’s sustainability programs and gives students hands-on experience with industry data, helping prepare the next generation of sustainability leaders.

Restoring ecosystems

Since 1989, we've worked with the World Wildlife Fund’s (WWF) Education for Nature Program to support reforestation projects in Africa, Asia and Latin America. Working with local and indigenous communities, this partnership helps improve damaged land, restore the health of rivers and streams, and expand forest cover by planting more trees. In 2025 alone, this partnership employed 4.5K+ community members to plant and care for 305K+ trees in five countries. Our funding also helped WWF provide environmental education and promote sustainable jobs like beekeeping, ecotourism and agroforestry.

Inspiring the next generation

We partner with the Student Conservation Association to provide environmental conservation jobs and volunteer opportunities in the United States’ parks and public lands. In 2025, we sponsored environmental jobs for 20 Atlanta-based young adults , covering the costs of their pay and supplies. Participants completed hands-on projects that improved public lands, increased access to nature and supported long-term ecosystem health. Our partnership offers opportunities for young people to gain valuable work experience in environmental fields, earn wages and play a role in protecting and sustaining shared community spaces.
