What’s new: The UPS Foundation will give a $5 million grant to support a nearly eight-acre expansion of Atlanta Botanical Garden, linking it to the popular BeltLine trail system and helping create a more sustainable city. Psst! The expansion will also make the Garden Atlanta’s first attraction directly accessible from the BeltLine’s 22-mile loop – that’s huge!
A partnership that just makes sense: The project is aimed at creating a more walkable, bikeable and biodiverse urban environment that relies less on cars as Atlanta’s population continues to grow. That goal complements our commitment to reducing environmental impact and planting 50 million trees around the world by 2030.
