Delivering what matters: Just ahead of the back-to-school rush, a dedicated team of community-minded UPS employees – from drivers and package handlers to mechanics and management – came together for a United Way Stuff the Bus event in Nashville. Working together, they delivered 13,460 backpacks stuffed with classroom essentials like notebooks, crayons and rulers for 37 middle schools in central Tennessee. 📝

Stronger together 💪:
“Every day UPS delivers millions of packages around the world – but today was special because we got to deliver what kids here locally really need,” said Race, a package division manager at UPS. “By far, one of the most rewarding experiences as a UPS employee is getting to give back to the community in such a significant way.”

A mighty force: “I’m always impressed with how UPSers just get things done!” said Whilna, a community relations manager at UPS. “We give our all every day, so when the company supports volunteerism through hands-on work, what’s really being said is, our people matter.”

A long legacy of giving back: In 2022, UPS employees recorded 2 million volunteer hours across six continents. And through collaborative efforts, we’re well on our way to deliver 30 million hours by 2030 in communities around the world.

UPSers care about our communities, bringing people together and breaking down barriers. It’s who we are – it’s in our DNA. Plain and simple! 🙌

Did you know? We are helping to improve the well-being of 1 billion lives by 2040 with an emphasis on health and humanitarian relief, equity and economic empowerment, local community engagement and planet protection.
