This story celebrates People Powering Growth – UPSers around the world who are helping our business grow by putting customers first, leading with our values and driving innovation.

More than 9,500 UPS Circle of Honor drivers have reached an impressive milestone: 25 years or more of safe driving. Together, they represent approximately 1.5 billion accident-free miles, earned through the preparation and discipline that help keep drivers safe and service running reliably.

Their achievement reflects something customers value just as much as safety: consistency. We asked six UPS Circle of Honor drivers why customers trust UPS. Their answers reveal a simple truth. The daily choices that create safe, reliable service are the same that build trust.

Damon Evans, feeder driver, California, U.S.

26 years of safe driving

“Staying safe takes intention throughout the entire day. It starts with getting to bed on time, inspecting your vehicle, staying hydrated and knowing your route. Every action should be done with safety in mind because excellence comes from intentional acts repeated daily.”

Brea Jackson-Carter, feeder driver, Florida, U.S.

31 years of safe driving

“For me, our training is the backbone of staying safe. They help me do the job the right way, arrive safely and on time, and prevent service interruptions for our customers. The small decisions you make throughout the day add up – that’s what keeps you safe, and it’s why customers count on us.”

Sean Holland, package car driver, Colorado, U.S.

34 years of safe driving

“Dependability is everything. My customers joke that they can set their clocks by me. Trust is built through small, consistent actions – showing up day after day, doing what you say you'll do and building relationships that last.”

Jeffrey Reed, feeder driver, New Mexico, U.S.

27 years of safe driving

“Customers want to know they can rely on us. They’re counting on me to show up, and they’re counting on UPS to deliver. When we’re consistent, customers feel confident – and that starts long before I get behind the wheel, with preparation and doing the job the right way every day. Saving a minute or two by cutting corners is never worth compromising safety.”

Frank Rommerskirchen, package car driver, Düsseldorf, Germany

35 years of safe driving

“There’s no secret to preparing for a workday as a driver – just good habits that make sense for anyone behind the wheel. When everything is well prepared, the day runs more smoothly and safely. That benefits drivers and customers, who count on us every day.”

Alfredo Vázquez, package car driver, Naucalpan de Juárez, Mexico

25 years of safe driving

“Earning Circle of Honor is something I’m very proud of. It’s the result of many years of hard work, focus and dedication on the road. Safety is non-negotiable; it's always a priority. Following our space and visibility driving rules every day helps us develop good habits, and those habits are what lead us to excellence behind the wheel.”

The experiences of these UPS Circle of Honor drivers reinforce a simple lesson: Trust is earned through actions repeated every day.
