EVP & President International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions
Kate Gutmann is Executive Vice President (EVP) and President International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions. A member of the company’s Executive Leadership Team, Kate oversees all of the company's business operations outside of U.S. small package. She is responsible for international small package operations and functions as well as global healthcare and global supply chain solutions. The leaders of UPS International, Healthcare and Supply Chain Solutions ensure strong synergy and connection between each to deliver more for our customers worldwide and across the end-to-end supply chain.
In her prior role, Kate served as EVP of Global Healthcare and Chief Sales and Solutions Officer, in which she significantly expanded the company’s global healthcare business and deepened UPS customer relationships by providing high-impact, value-rich solutions, enabling customers to better compete in the global marketplace. Earlier in her career, Kate had responsibility for the executive management of The UPS Store® and UPS Capital®. She was also President of Worldwide Sales and Vice President of Marketing for the UPS Europe Region, based in Brussels, in which capacity she oversaw the development of rates, services and pricing policy in more than 100 countries.
Kate currently serves on the Board of Advisors at Siena University and previously held a position as an independent director at Brown-Forman.
A native of Troy, New York, Kate began her UPS career in 1989 as a marketing intern while pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing at Siena University. Her alma mater later awarded her an Honorary Doctorate of Humane Letters in 2019.
