In 2020, Ivy Scott left corporate America to fully dedicate herself to entrepreneurship – beginning her journey with The UPS Store. Ivy is a native of Texas and a proud alumna of Clark Atlanta University, where she was a UPS Scholarship recipient for three consecutive years.

“For years, my family and I explored opportunities to build generational wealth. After researching many franchise opportunities, UPS was the clear choice,” said Ivy.

Fast forward to today: Ivy is a proud store owner in Georgia. Locations are locally owned and operated – giving entrepreneurs the opportunity to grow and be a part of a global network.

The UPS Stores are where businesses meet communities – see for yourself

“Our stores were essential businesses during the pandemic, demonstrating UPS’s resilience and commitment to customer service. I love the values of UPS and I knew that by being a franchisee, I would be able to serve our local community,” added Ivy.

Full circle moment: “Being a franchisee is a huge badge of honor,” said Ivy. “Throughout my life, UPS has been a continuous source of support. I’m so proud to be a part of the UPS family … even 15 years later.”

Here’s a quick glance at Ivy’s UPS super fan journey:

  • 2004 – 2007: Received a UPS scholarship
  • 2020: Became a franchisee of The UPS Store
  • 2022: Became a UPS Ignite Member
  • 2023 – present: Became a business consultant with Russell Innovation Center for Entrepreneurs

“Ivy’s story is a full circle moment that began with UPS’s investment into the communities we serve every day. Her journey is a shining example of dedication, hard work and the transformative power of partnership,” said Stephen Hewitt, diverse customer segment director at UPS.
