What’s the story: Today, UPS closed on the acquisition of Bomi Group, a leading provider of global healthcare logistics. As a natural extension of our business, Bomi will grow UPS Healthcare’s international reach and impact countless lives.
Meet the team: Following the announcement, UPS Healthcare welcomed nearly 3,000 highly skilled Bomi team members across Europe and Latin America and added temperature-controlled facilities in 14 countries to our footprint.
What’s the bottom line? Our customers now have access to 216 facilities, totaling 17 million square feet of healthcare distribution space in 37 countries and territories. The result is access to faster shipping times and greater production flexibility – meeting our clients where they are now and into the future.
