Meet Trouva: No time to pop over to west London for some shopping? What about Como, Italy? Now shoppers can get a uniquely curated collection of one-of-a-kind products only found in the UK and Europe’s independent shops. The e-commerce platform Trouva and UPS’ global logistics network are bringing boutiques to your doorstep.

Scaling up gets complicated: In 2015, Trouva began as a simple e-commerce idea, but its rapid success meant that it needed a carrier that could meet the unique needs of its complex, worldwide operation.

Trouva has over 500 homeware and fashion collections that may, on any given day, have any number of parcels that need to be collected, and then shipped to customers across 50 different countries worldwide. Most couriers find this challenging – not UPS.

'As a startup, we set ourselves tight deadlines and we need a partner that can deliver to these as well. UPS does exactly that', said Dimple Patel, Trouva’s Chief Operating Officer. 'Our experience with UPS is trusted, transparent and responsive.'

Enhancing online checkout: Using UPS’ digital platforms, Trouva added improved delivery options into their online checkout to give customers more control, choice and flexibility, including the extensive network of UPS Access Point collection and drop-off locations.

Trouva also tapped the power of UPS’ brokerage systems to minimise risk or delays of their cross-border shipping. While global trade continues to evolve, businesses like Trouva can struggle with the complexities of tariff codes, excessive forms and processes and confusing regulatory requirements. The good news is UPS can help.
