In a recent report by Armstrong & Associates, Inc., UPS Supply Chain Solutions ranked second in overall value for services by an e-commerce fulfilment provider. UPS SCS also ranked as a top provider in warehousing, freight forwarding and overall third party logistics in the U.S. and globally.

UPS’ Smart Grid wins Major Project of the Year

UPS’ Smart Grid Project won Major Project of the Year at the UK National Sustainability Awards 2022. The new smart electric vehicle charging systems allow UPS to increase the number of electric vehicles (EV) operating in Camden, London from 65 to 170 without the need for an upgrade to the power supply connection. At the same time, the solution reduces energy costs.

The California Employer Advisory Council (CEAC) recognised UPS as its Veterans Employer of the Year in the Private Large Business category. The award recognises UPS for its efforts in hiring and promoting U.S. veterans, as well as its employee retention efforts, ongoing training and benefits.

The Honest Columnist named The UPS Store to its top 50 list for companies doing the most to champion diversity. The UPS Store was recognised for its Diversity Ownership Programme, which offers incentives for first-time buyers of a new centre who are Black, Asian, Hispanic, Native American or LGBTQ+.

Laura Lane named to Washingtonian’s 500 Most Influential list

Laura Lane, UPS Executive Vice President and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, was named one of the Washingtonian’s 500 Most Influential People in Washington, D.C. The list includes experts and advocates, outside the government, who are playing big roles in Washington’s policy debates. She was selected, in part, for UPS’ disaster-recovery efforts and its work on sustainability.

Kevin Warren named an AdWeek Top 18 CMO

Kevin Warren, UPS Executive Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, was selected to AdWeek’s Top 18 CMO list.
