As innovation leaders, our people challenge the status quo and think of newer, smarter ideas to help our customers compete and our communities thrive.

Working smarter: We have tons of examples of innovation and digital transformations that are helping to future-proof our business as we embrace new technologies. Here are just a few:

  • Innovating within our industry: This year, we acquired Delivery Solutions, a Texas-based SaaS technology company offering retailers out-of-the-box solutions with access to: same-day delivery, ship from store and distribution centers, curbside and in-store pickup, and post-purchase customer experience. This purchase supports our customer-first strategy while positioning UPS to be a digital leader.
  • UPS Premier expansion: UPS Premier, a healthcare service built on RFID and cellular technologies, gives complex healthcare shipments a priority lane in our network with enhanced visibility and near-perfect service. We’ve added 14 new countries to UPS Premier, bringing the total availability to 33 countries. And by the end of this year, we will add another 15.

  • eQuads: In 2022, we expanded our zero emission, last-mile solution eQuads in urban areas. These four-wheeled electric-assist cycles allow the driver to use cycle lanes in dense, urban areas and easily move through narrow streets and dual-use pedestrian zones. eQuads will help us reach our goal to be carbon-neutral by 2050.

  • Deal Manager: This digital pricing platform is an internal innovation that speeds up the way we engage with small and medium-sized business (SMB) customers. Our customers benefit from faster pricing quotes and better execution of contracts so they can begin shipping faster.
