In search of a partner: Like so many entrepreneurs, the founders of Singapore startup Boxaroo had a great idea, a great product and a new market they wanted to crack. But when it came to getting that product to customers overseas, suddenly things got a bit more complicated. That's when they decided to partner with UPS.

“We needed help with things like customs documentation and estimating duties and taxes so that our recipients are aware of how much [their order] is going to cost them,” said Robert Rajeswaran, co-founder of Boxaroo.

Robert’s company had found success as a one-stop shop where businesses can customise, order, store and distribute high-quality swag and gifts around the world.

“At Boxaroo we’re about more than just cups and t-shirts, and we needed a logistics partner that understood that. One that understands our customers and what they’re looking for and is then able to provide customised solutions and tools. This makes a big difference when providing a good customer experience.”

UPS is ready to help SMBs all around the world:

“A lot of small businesses may not realise how many tools are already out there that they can take advantage of – they don’t have to reinvent the wheel or build something from scratch,” said Chika Imakita, managing director UPS Singapore.

“For us at UPS it’s an absolute pleasure to work with Robert and Boxaroo. It really brings home our purpose when we work with an inspirational company like them.”
