As a UPS Healthcare operations supervisor, Ashlie-Marie Paulin sees lifesaving products move through our network every day. However, when her newborn son, Booker, experienced multiple organ failure, she quickly realized just how much she would rely on those same products – along with the support of her UPS team and medical benefits.

From healthcare to hope, see how UPS showed up:

Powered by purpose: “At UPS Healthcare, we’ve always said that quality matters and that every patient counts – but when that patient is your own child, it really puts things into perspective,” Ashlie-Marie said.

Booker underwent emergency open-heart surgery and several lifesaving procedures. After spending four months in the hospital, he was finally able to go home. That was three years ago – and today, he’s thriving.

A young child sits on a vibrant red armchair, holding a heart-shaped sign that reads 'I have a mended heart.' The setting features a festive backdrop with red hearts and decorative accents. The child is dressed casually in brown pants and blue shoes, creating a warm and cheerful atmosphere.

“I’m very thankful that UPS has great medical benefits and that we can choose what works for our family. We wouldn’t have been able to focus on just being present with our son if it weren’t for the benefits UPS gave us,” Ashlie-Marie said.

Check out some stories from our employees. You can hear from them in their own words about how UPS’s pay and benefits have changed their lives.
