Kevin Warsh is a former central banker, presidential advisor and noted economic and financial market expert who currently serves as the Shepard Family Distinguished Visiting Fellow in Economics at Stanford University's Hoover Institution, and as a Dean’s Visiting Scholar and lecturer at its Graduate School of Business. He also serves as an advisor at Duquesne Family Office LLC and is a member of the Group of Thirty (G30) and the Panel of Economic Advisers of the Congressional Budget Office.
He was a member of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve from 2006 until 2011. From 2002 until 2006, Kevin served at the White House as President George W. Bush’s special assistant for economic policy and as executive secretary of the National Economic Council. Kevin was previously employed by Morgan Stanley & Co., eventually serving as vice president and executive director of the Mergers and Acquisitions department.
Kevin joined the UPS Board of Directors in 2012 and serves on the Compensation and Human Capital Committee and Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee.
A native of upstate New York, Kevin earned his A.B. in public policy from Stanford and J.D. from Harvard Law School.
