UPS CEO Carol B. Tomé took part in a keynote discussion with Verizon CEO Hans Vestberg at the CES conference and trade show (formerly known as the Consumer Electronics Show).
Organized by the Consumer Technology Association, CES is considered the most influential tech event in the world. In previous years, it occupied millions of square feet of convention center space in Las Vegas and was described by the Wall Street Journal as “Disneyland for tech.”
Carol and Hans took center stage on the first day of this year’s virtual conference to kick off a global conversation on emerging tech innovation.
“The global pandemic has driven us to accelerate the development of new and creative solutions to ensure our customers get what they need, when and where they need it,” Carol said.
Watch the two CEOs discuss how advances in drone technology continue to transform their respective industries.
