What’s the story: Maribel Moreno-Musillami is on a mission to disrupt the male-dominated meat industry, and her business – Purely Meat Co. – is doing just that.

As Maribel continues to grow her business in Chicago and beyond, UPS Ignite is helping her pursue classes to sharpen her skills.

“I had never taken a business course before,” said Maribel. “I learned a lot. We did a lot of research on the newest trends … and how to get a business out there.”

Igniting growth: In partnership with The Northwestern Kellogg School of Management and its live virtual executive curriculum, UPS Ignite is providing Maribel and other entrepreneurs with the education and resources to help them succeed.

Through a $1.25 million investment from UPS and The UPS Foundation, the UPS Ignite program will reach more than 250 small- and medium-sized businesses over the next three years.
