In 2017, life was good for Hulya Pinarbasi. She had recently moved back to her home country of the Netherlands and received a promotion to team leader at UPS’s hub in Eindhoven. Then, when she was only 41, she was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer.

Instead of asking, “Why me?” Hulya simply asked, “Why?” She knew in her heart there had to be a purpose beyond the devasting diagnosis – something positive to give her struggle meaning.

Then Hulya met Paulette Kreté and her partner, Tom, and the YvYa Foundation was born.

Hear the inspiring story of Hulya’s ongoing crusade to fund the development of a new technology for the early detection of breast cancer.
